At SEMMantics 40, Jim Marcinkowski will be giving a talk on the basic tenets of both terrorism and Middle East politics that will seek to provide you with the analytical tools necessary to understand and perhaps make some sense out of this extremely complex area of international relations.

Marcinkowski began a thirty-eight year career in law enforcement and national security with Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI).  He then served as an Operations/Intelligence specialist with the U.S. Navy and later joined the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) where he was trained and served overseas as a clandestine Operations Officer.
